The Helping Hands Foundation was founded in 2025 as an extension of Barrington Nutritionals values that have guided the company for 35 years – integrity, compassion, and commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond business.

How Helping Hands Started

The inspiration behind Helping Hands began when Founder of Barrington Nutritionals, Stu Gelbard, long-standing belief that giving back should be part of a company culture, not just a corporate responsibility.

For 35 years, Barrington has encouraged employees to support these causes they care about most by providing every team member with a dedicated paid volunteer day to serve a charity of their choice. The philosophy of service becomes the foundation for Barrington Helping Hands.
